Welcome!

I believe it is apropos to begin this blog with the announcement that my KITCHEN got an upgrade today!  Whoo hoo!!!  We bought our house 2 years ago and since that time the kitchen faucet has been the bane of my existence (in my kitchen).  The thorn in my flesh.  The salt in my wounds.  A real pain in the arse! ;-)  It literally had only about a 2 inch clearance above the sink!  Totally obnoxious when trying to clean anything larger then a soup bowl!  So, we decided that this would be the season to have it removed and replaced with something functional!  HALLELUJAH!!  And tonight was the night . .  ahhhhhh . . it’s a thing of beauty!

However, learning how to use a new computer is sometimes not so beautiful and I’m not quite sure how to get the before and after pictures to load.  So!  For now, let your imagination run wild! :-)  I will post pictures later.  There are some really cute ones with the kids climbing on their daddy while he’s trying to work under the sink, tough enough as it is, I might say.

Ciao for now!

April 23, 2013 . . .  I finally managed to figure it out.

O.k. Here it goes! It's coming out!

Here’s San, man handling the very out dated, old faucet!

Here comes the first child to investigate Daddy's progress . . .
